So this is the movie that i just watched. This film has been nominated for 4 oscar and what it really attracted me is because of it is based on a true story that happened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There was a housing project built in the 60's and it has became dangerous place where violence lying on in the early 80's.
There is another world that i have never thought of kept playing in the film. I mean it was like far away from us. There is still many people struggled to find their own way to continue move on or get the easier way to accomplish their goal. But in City of God, most people take the opportunity ahead. And since then they think bout their destiny, their faith. Unfortunately, what that waited in front them is the death's calling.
Enjoy this movie if you are fond of true-story film as i do.
